Chelsea Nowak
Hello! My name is Chelsea Nowak and I am an English as a New Language teacher in Buffalo, NY. Prior to teaching ENL, I taught middle and high school French. Ever since I was a little girl, I was fascinated with the French language and culture. After a senior class trip to France, I was hooked and knew that I had found my calling. I completed my B.A. in French Adolescence Education at SUNY Brockport and abroad in Avignon, France. In 2011, I was one of fifteen individuals in the United States gifted with a Fulbright Scholarship to teach English in France through the Franco-American Teachers-In-Training Institute. I lived and taught English throughout the Loire Valley in all academic levels. This incredible experience opened my eyes to teaching English and inspired my Master’s work. I completed my Masters in Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). During my graduate studies, I spent a month teaching English in Puebla, Mexico. It was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences as non-Spanish speaker. And most recently, I spent a summer tutoring English to a French family in Grenoble and traveling throughout Europe with my husband. I absolutely love to travel and experience different ways of life. I truly believe that I wouldn’t be the person I am today if not for the experiences I have had. The teaching and learning of languages is a passion of mine, and I am excited to expand my classroom on an online platform.

I began studying piano at seven and performed with a symphony orchestra at 17. That’s when I began playing professionally, sharing a variety of flavors of yummy music. Writing songs has been a passion of mine since junior high school. Helping students learn, create and discover the magic of music makes my day!
Cyrus Bry
My name is Cyrus Bry and I am a graduate student and researcher with a focus in astronomy/astrophysics. I have a strong sense of admiration and enthusiasm for space and the cosmos. My professional goals are to earn a PhD and work in an astronomical research laboratory such a SpaceX, NASA or LIGO. These endeavors require the use of physics and mathematics on a regular basis, which I have grown to love, and I am eager to instill this love in younger students.
Damien Denis
I live in Orlando, Florida with my lovely wife, our 4 year old son, and our 1 year old cat. I’ve always been very curious, I do research just for fun. I studied physics very seriously, I wanted to understand how math works and how it’s used to visualize things like physics. In college, I simulated the formation of spiral galaxies, like our own Milky Way, with colorful animations that look like hurricanes forming. I love the feeling of helping someone understand something, and helping others discover empowering tools, resources, and confidence to explore further on their own.
