Mr. Roach enjoys working with people to help them increase their mathematical proficiency. With over three years of private tutoring experience and a Master in Education, his primary focus is teaching Mathematics and is most frequently working with students on math. In addition to mathematics, Jeromy gives great attention to teaching the other subjects of the SAT/ACT: Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Punctuation, Science Comprehension, Essay Writing, and such. All of these subjects are challenging, and all need clear, understanding teaching.

He works together with students in subjects that range from basic computational skills in grade 6, onward through Pre-Calculus at the Highschool level. Since beginning his tutoring practice over four years ago, he’s decided to expand by tutoring students online. Pairing programs together such as Zoom and Ziteboard.com allows students to have an interactive learning experience online. In fact, many of Mr. Roach’s students have been enjoying using OneNote to keep track of their assignments as well. It’s an excellent way to stay ahead of the game and have access to current learning material!

Through his professional experience, Mr. Roach has also found students to be most successful in their coursework when paired with interactive online learning activities. Staying updated on current trends and technology is critical to successfully teach in the digital age. Some students find that learning strictly online works best for them; while other students find that in-person and group learning works best for them. Mr. Roach makes this a primary goal to honor the learning preferences of students and their families as best as possible.
